Chinaz.com, May 29th today, WPP and kadaritong Ming announced a “2018 BrandZ TM global brand value list”, according to the list, in the top 10, technology or technology related brands occupy eight seats, of which Google ranked first and apple ranked second, Amazon third. It is worth noting that domestic enterprises Tencent and Alibaba also rank among the top ten, ranking fifth and ninth respectively.
The report shows that this year’s list shows the strongest annual value growth in history – the total net growth of the list brands is close to 750 billion US dollars (+21%). This brings the total brand value of BrandZ Global 100 to US $4 trillion and 400 billion. In this year, 14 Chinese brands have topped the top 100 list. The total value of all brands from China has increased by 47%, and the growth rate is more than two times that of the US (23%).
Among them, after the first 10 place last year, Tencent rose from eighth to fifth this year. The brand value of Alibaba has risen 92% in the past year, and it has also entered the top 10 in the world and ranked ninth for the first time.
